The day she turned four.

I just noticed that I still have this post sitting in my drafts folder?! From March? Not sure how that happened? Anyway. Here it is.

We went bowling for her fourth birthday with my family and a few friends. This was her first time bowling and she totally loved it... and of course after about two turns she was sure that she was a pro, freely handing out advice to everyone else. The bowling alley had an arcade attached to it and we spent some time in there as well- my dad and I pretty much cleared out one of those crane games with the stuffed animals inside. You get a stuffed animal! And you get a stuffed animal! After our bowling extravaganza we went back to our house and had cake. I took the cutest video of her for her "birthday interview"... I did this last year too and I just love being able to see the videos side by side. "Birthday interview" sounds really official but it basically consists of her sitting in a chair and me asking her questions like "what's your favorite book" and "what do you want to be when you grow up" etc :)

I'm so so proud of the person she is becoming. She is gentle and kind and smart with just the right amount of sassiness ;) and has the sweetest little spirit I've ever seen. Four years old! Gosh that happened quick. We love you so much, Navi! (And in the words of the birthday girl herself, " I love you all the way to Canada!" ;)

  1. Where did you get that growth chart ruler?? So adorable, we have been looking for something similar.

    1. Thanks! We made it out of a 1x6 board from the hardware store. ☺️👍🏼

Thank you so much for your comment, I read and appreciate each one!
