Summertime favorites.

Now that summer is in full swing, I thought I'd share a few of my tried and tested summertime favorites for a toddler. Other than sunshine and a hose, these are some of the things that we are loving this summer...

1. Little Ducks Organics Tiny Fruits- These are the best, they're just tiny little bits of organic dried fruit. They help to keep long car trips (somewhat) bearable and they're the perfect snack to take outside if you aren't somewhere where you can cut up fresh fruits and you're looking for an alternative to the standard "puffs".
2. Charlie Banana Reusable Swim Diaper- These swim diapers are super cute, fit perfectly, contain any and all messes and rinse away clean... they're a no brainer.
3. Plum Organics Just Peaches- Navi ate this off of a spoon as a teeny tiny baby... and now she slurps them right out of the pouch when we're outside soaking up the sun. The consistency is super thin-its basically like straight peach juice.
4. Crocs- Love em or hate em, from what I've found, Crocs are THE best toddler summer shoes. They are breathable, come in a bunch of different colors, are super easy to take on and off and can double as a water shoe. If you're dead set against Crocs, here and here are two slightly more "stylish" options of waterproof toddler kicks.
5. Measuring Cups- My measuring cups are seriously one of her all time favorite toys right now. Filling, scooping, dumping, mixing, they fit just right in her tiny hands and they're the perfect toy for sand or water activities.
6. BabyGanics Sunscreen Stick- This is the easiest way that I've found to put sunscreen on Navi's face without a mini-meltdown from either of us. The end. (This link is to a two pack which seems like a bit of an overkill since it lasts for forever, mine came as a sample when I ordered a bottle of sunscreen.)
7. Burley D'Lite Bike Trailer- We got this bike trailer as a Christmas gift from Chris's aunt last year and we have soooo been enjoying it this summer. Its so easy to switch from my bike to Chris's bike and even though it feels like I'm pulling a sail behind me at times, Navi absolutely loves it and is always comfortable on long bike rides and that's what counts.
8. Step 2 Sand and Water Table- She plays with this every single day and we even used it on occasion in our house during the stir-crazy winter months, so I'd say we've definitely got our moneys worth. It cleans up nicely and is super light weight so it can be easily moved. (We don't actually fill this up with sand, just water on either side since she's still into eating everything in sight.)

    1. Thanks :) And the only store where I've seen these in stock is Whole Foods.
